I read an article about Kate Hudson, the Oscar-nominated daughter of Goldie Hawn in an old W magazine, and she mentioned there that she keeps a daily gratitude journal, a thing she learned from watching Oprah - and because of it, it has kept her appreciative of the things she has received in life.
Using that same vein of thought, I am starting my own daily gratitude journal so that I will always see the positive things in life, and although I battled with being depressed the past few years, I have been trying my best to stay positive.
This is going to be a daily thing so let's see how my gratitude evolves over time. I will put down three things today that I am most grateful for. I will try my best not to repeat things unless the impact has stayed.

* Thank you for giving me a handsome man to flirt with today in the gym lol when we grow old, we are always conscious about being still attractive to other gay men, and today, I proved that I still have it! Nothing happened but there was a lot of flirtation going on! At least my derma's work is showing some success in that department!
* Thank you for sparing us from the wrath of Taal Volcano. I've had traumatic experiences with natural disasters and if you live in the Philippines, it comes on a regular basis! So, when the volcano erupted last Sunday, I was worried that it the ashfall might reach Quezon City. It did but the impact has not been that bad. No need to buy N95 masks yet.
* Thank you for the extra tutorial income. If Taal did not erupt last Sunday, my last tutorials would've been last Tuesday night. However, classes were suspended Monday and Tuesday so the exams had to be moved and because of it, I had two extra income days! Hurrah!
